Mian Mohammad Mansha is the head of the Mansha family and the chairman of Nishat Group. He is regarded as the richest person in Pakistan. He has textile mills. The chain of Banks namely Muslim commercial Bank(MCB) and a major player in Cements. He left (APTMA) All Pakistan Textile Mills Association. He is also the biggest single exporter in Pakistan. The assets of Nishat Group are estimated at around Rs. 27000 corore. (Rs. 270000 million). Nishat groups companies include: Nishat Textiles, DG Cement, and Muslim Commercial Bank. Mian Mohammad Mansha is on the board of 45 companies in Pakistan and is one of the most powerful and influential people in the country. Nishat Textiles is also the largest exporting entity in Pakistan. Nishat group is currently in the process of setting up a paper mill in a Joint Venture with a Kuwaiti company.
He remained in exile from Pakistan for many years due to court orders for his arrest for corruption, bank default and fraud. He was allowed to return by President Musharraf after settling his bank liabilities.
The rise to his success also goes to his elder sister who supported him in his very difficult times Mrs. Musarrat Aziz and who is now living in the premises of Nishat Mills, in Nishatabad, Faisalabad.
