b>Thandiani hills (Thandiani - 'Very Cold') , the part of west Himalayas, is located in the Abbottabad District of Pakistan. There are boosters of many TV channels, including PTV, Channel 3 and PTV World. There is a rest house and a hotel for tourists. The hills are 9,000 feet (2,750 m) above sea level. The winters are very harsh and in winters the temperature drops to âˆ'20 degrees Celsius. There is also heavy snowfall (about 120 inches or 3 m) every winter which makes it difficult for transportation. The area and its surrounding villages were damaged by 2005 Kashmir Earthquake.
